If you have color-treated hair, we recommend using the Italian Red Grape Shampoo and Conditioner, which are specially formulated to protect against sun damage and fading. Please avoid using any shampoo or conditioner with tea tree oil, as it may lighten hair color.

Do Desert Essence Shampoos Contain Silicone?

Desert Essence shampoos do not contain silicone. Instead, they’re powered by gentle botanical extracts that remove daily impurities and leave hair soft and shiny.

Do Desert Essence Shampoos Contain Sulfates?

We have SCS, or sodium coco-sulfate, in some of our shampoos. However, SCS is mild and safe as it's derived from coconut oil.
